TNSREADS
Tiktok Content Creator
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging TikTok videos focused on Black women authors, literature, and cultural conversations 
- Attend book club events, author talks, and community gatherings to produce content 
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute TikTok content ideas 
- Highlight book reviews, reading recommendations, author features, and behind-the-scenes moments. 
Requirements:
- Experience creating and editing content specifically for TikTok 
- Strong storytelling skills with a creative and strategic mindset 
- An avid reader with a deep passion for books by Black authors 
- Knowledge of TikTok trends and ability to adapt them to literary content 
- Comfortable attending events and capturing content in real time 
- London based/willing to travel to London. 
Outreach Officer
Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to publishers, brands, and cultural organisations for potential collaborations. 
- Build and maintain relationships that support sponsorships, book donations, and event partnerships. 
- Pitch creative collaboration ideas that align with our mission and community. 
- Work closely with the team to understand partnership needs across events, content, and membership growth. 
- Keep track of outreach efforts, partnership status, and deliverables. 
- Represent the organisation in a professional, values-aligned way in all communications. 
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in professional outreach. 
- Experience in partnerships, sponsorships, or community engagement roles. 
- Confident in pitching ideas and building long-term relationships. 
- Organised and able to manage multiple conversations and deadlines. 
- Passion for books, culture, and connecting Black stories with wider audiences. 
Graphic Designer
Responsibilities:
- Design promotional materials such as flyers, banners, and social media posts. 
- Create visual content for social media. 
- Develop a cohesive brand identity and ensure consistency across all visual materials. 
- Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator and Video Content Creator on campaigns. 
Requirements:
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.). 
- Experience in creating social media graphics and visual storytelling. 
- Understanding of visual branding and ability to create cohesive, eye-catching designs. 
- Interest in literature, particularly work by Black women authors. 
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills. 
Events Lead
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning process for book club meetups, guiding the team from concept to execution. 
- Coordinate with team members to ensure event logistics, communications, and creative elements are covered. 
- Set timelines, assign tasks, and keep the planning process on track. 
- Collaborate on programming ideas, themes, and interactive elements for each event. 
- Ensure events align with the community’s values and goal. 
- Debrief with the team post-event to gather insights and improve future experiences. 
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and organisational skills. 
- Experience managing or coordinating events, especially community-focused ones. 
- Comfortable delegating, giving direction, and holding a team accountable. 
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
- A passion for books, storytelling, and creating inclusive, welcoming spaces. 
- London based/willing to travel to London. 
Events Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate discussions at book club meetups, both in-person and virtual. 
- Support the planning and coordination of events in collaboration with the Events Lead. 
- Create content to promote events and recap highlights (e.g. social posts, short videos, discussion prompts). 
- Moderate the group chat to keep conversation flowing and aligned with community guidelines. 
- Help brainstorm event themes, questions, and interactive elements to deepen engagement. 
- Serve as a welcoming and supportive presence for members at all events. 
Requirements:
- Confident and engaging speaker, comfortable leading group discussion. 
- Strong organisational and communication skills 
- Experience in community engagement or event coordination is a plus 
- Ability to create light content (written or visual) to support event promotion 
- Passionate about books, especially by Black authors, and building inclusive community spaces. 
- London based/willing to travel to London.
